Standard Terms and General Commercial Agreements
When you sell your goods or services to other people or businesses you need to do so on terms which comply with relevant legislation, which are favourable to and protective of your business, and which are likely to promote and preserve good relationships with your customers.
This means having standard terms of business and ensuring that these are effectively incorporated into your sale of goods/services contract so that they are binding on the customer.
In all the dealings which your business has with third parties you should ensure that you have effective commercial agreements in place to protect your business. This may include software licences, agency agreements, sale and purchase agreements, distribution agreement and many others.
