What our solicitors can do for you

  1. Disputes can be stressful, costly and time-consuming. Before taking legal action on a claim, our solicitors are ready to explain if you have a valid claim worth pursuing.
  2. Once your claim has been validated, our experts are ready to develop a case strategy. We’ll seek and analyse the evidence you need to win your case.
  3. When required, we are fully prepared to issue court proceedings on your behalf.
  4. We stand by you till a solution is reached. We’ll attend mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

Outside of Litigation: We explore alternative Dispute Resolution

The seriousness of disputes vary. Quite frequently, the ideal solution which suits both a claimant and the defendant may be reached without involving the courts. Here at MHHP Law, we explore all appropriate avenues to ensure our clients receive the most effective legal care.  When applicable or preferable, we’ll resolve your case through mediation.

Arbitration (Mediation)

Arbitration involves an impartial outsider being asked to make a decision on a dispute. The arbitrator makes a firm decision on a case based on the evidence presented by the parties. Arbitration is voluntary, so both sides must agree to go to arbitration; they should also agree in advance that they will abide by the arbitrator’s decision.

Arbitration can be seen as an alternative to a court of law with its rules for procedures such as disclosure of documents, evidence and so on. But arbitration is private rather than public. Unlike a court, in an arbitration hearing, the Arbitrator will ask the questions. There is no formal cross-examination or swearing of oaths.
